Hunter, moving south at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

* At 541 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northeast of Winfield to 6 miles southeast
of Arkansas City to 3 miles northwest of Newkirk, moving southeast
at 35 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR GRAINOLA AND FORAKER.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...There was an 86 mph wind gust north of Arkansas City.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
